Welcome to the C47/R47 reference documentation.

The documentation is maintained by user RJvM, C47/R47 team member, with input from the other team members and also with the advantage of feedback from the C47/R47 related forum on forum.swissmicros.com.

-- Note that to accomodate both C47 and R47 layouts, the root folder has been reorganised to the following overall structure for storing the pdf and html files that comprise the reference documentation, as follows:

The Application Notes and Community Support folders are common to both layouts.
The structure of the C47 and R47 "trees" is identical, all pdf and html files are specific to the respective layouts, although a lot of information is identical.

In the C47 or R47 directory, the documents are either complete or a compilation pdf document combining many separate pages that are stored elsewhere (in respective folders).

The C47_ or R47v0_Full_index.pdf is also located in its respective subdirectory Index and shows where everything that is in the calculator can be found, exactly and contains the extended descriptions of every item. 

C47_ or R47v0_Full_Names.pdf are a kind of reverse lookup for all things in the calculator. A version sorted by category is included for both layouts.

C47_ or R47v0_Keyboard_Keys.pdf show a compact overview of the most important keyboard layers for the C47 or R47. C47_ or R47v0_Menus.pdf contain all menus. C47_ or R47v0_Reference.pdf contain all reference pages (special subjects).

* Application Notes - tutorial type information on specific subjects, by various authors

* Catalog - representations of the two main catalogs, CAT.FCNS and CAT.MENUS and a full listing of the items in those catalogs, with descriptions, in C47_Function_catalog.pdf and C47_Menu_catalog.pdf.

* Community Support - information that may be useful for authors contributing to the documentation, e.g. the Application Notes or the Wiki. A list of menu changes is available in C47_or R47v0_Menu_changes.pdf and the detailed changes are in C47_ or R47v0_Appnotes_menus.pdf

* Index - Full index of all items with descriptions and location (keyboard, menu, etc.) and index by category of commands and functions, flags and settings, menus.

* Keyboard - Overviews of keyboard layers and rows in individual files.

* Menus - All menus are included as individual pdfs. These are also combined in the root directory as a complete listing in C47_ or R47v0_Menus.pdf

* Reference - All reference pages are included as individual files. These are also combined in the root directory as a complete listing in C47_ or R47v0_Reference.pdf

* Simulator - All reference information for the simulators, for both layouts and for International, French, German and Swiss PC/Mac keyboards
